Istanbul Fashion Apparel Conference - May 2012 Save May 3 & 4, 2012 to be in IstanbulIstanbul Fashion Apparel Conference is usually held in the first week of May each year. It is a nice conference that combines B2B meetings between producers and the Industry, along with speakers and seminars addressing current topics and a fashion and design exhibition. Buying groups in attendence represent several billion dollars of buying power and so it also is a great place to network. It is organized by the Turkish Clothing Manufacturers Association. The 2011 Istanbul Fashion Apparel Conference was held on May 5th & 6th. This is a special year for the conference as it is the 35th year since founding of the Turkish Clothing Manufacturers Association (TGSD). To celebrate, Prime Minister Erdoğan honored the association by attending. Here he is with Cem Negrin, Turkish Clothing Manufacturers Assocaiton Chairman of the Board.
